what food can i give my large neons and guppies so that the guppys dont eat it first?

My tetras don't like the sinking pellets- Tetra Prima- spit 'em out. I usually put some flake at one end- the guppies go after that, then drop some at the other where the current is stronger- it sucks the flake down fast and my tetras always hang about down there for it. All growing well. Do the same for frozen food.
