If it is neon tetra disease I agree with @utahfish there is no known cure and it will be transmitted to the other tetras if he dies and they eat his body. If that is the case you need to isolate and put him down.

I had a neon with this, far as i could tell it was neon tetra disease which can be spread to other neons and fish when the neon dies.its a parasite As far as i know there is no cure. I put my neon down before it died as to not spread it to other neons. Havent seen it in any of my other neons since. Id recommend doing the same, sorry

No, it’s not NTD. They lose color and get skin issues, Lumps with NTD. Also begin wasting. My bff is in aquatic research and has shared a lot about NTD. Fish is looking better today after treatment.
