Neon ? dropsy

I have a neon whos body is bloted on one side, he has lost all is colour and has developed curved spine. I have removed him from the tank. He is eating and swimming ok althogh alittle lopsided. Could this be dropsy? any help would be appreciated so that I know to return him to the tank or destroy him.

sounds a litle more like neon tetra disease where they lose colour at or around the base of the dorsal fin
not seen spinal curvature with this though
is bacterial condition and in my experience hard to treat and spreads rapidly , primarily through tetra's although i did lose a loach at the time of an outbreak

look for bacteria remedies

Thanx i have used internal bacteria treatment to see if this helps and will keep him in the hospital tank.All my other neons look fine.
