At long last, my mean but cute little nem is big enough that I can get a photo that is non-grainy enough that it's actually visible lol. It also finally crawled out from under the rock it was hiding in.

The fluroescent green bands didn't show up well unfortunately. I think Bartholomea annulata is ruled out...tentacles just arn't long enough. I am still floundering for a concrete ID :/

Is the little guy about the size of a quarter now?

I figure it must have come in as a speck on some live rock back in in the spring, along with some really small species of Aiptasia. Looks to be a bit bigger than a quater for diameter, about the same height off the rock too. It's mainly filled out a lot and lost any remaining transparency in the last couple months.

Dude! I have a glow-in-the-dark nem LOL. I dug out my macro mat today and got the nem under the full blast of the MH lamp today for the first time. I turned the lights off and for about a 30 seconds after the light was out, the green coloration at the bottom of the tentacles was glowing. Tried this a few times to make sure I wasn't seeing things. It's awesome but I am so confused now... :S

Its not uncommon for fleshy corals/nems to have phosphorescent colors in them. My toothy bubble phosphoresces for a couple minuts after lights-out
