At my writing desk, of course.
A male guppy of mine, Sunny, has somehow jumped over the rim of the tank, into the area where the water is pumped back into the tank from the filter. I can't get him out, though I did give him some food to last him until I can get him out. But that's the thing - my net is way too big to fit in there. Poor Sunny! I already tried to make a fish-rescuing contraption out of the end of a water bottle and two chopsticks, but it didn't work!

Does anyone have a suggestion?

You could also try using panty hose, and wrap that around an extra hanger, to try and fish him out. Just wash it with hot water really good, then cool it down with cold water.

Hm, I think you have an idea there, about washing it in hot water... I could do that!

Thank you! <3

*runs off to create a new fish-rescuing contraption*

EDIT: The aftermath- Sunny was rescued and is now swimming along with all his tankmates. Thank you to everyone who helped!
