i have to repair a small crack in my 10g tank, not to sure what brand of silicon you guys would suggest using, any ideas?

If youre US you can use GE sealant 100% silicone. If youre UK you need to get some off ebay or go to LFS where they may sell it for a bit more (the proper aquarium sealant)
 
i just got some for £3.50 from lfs.


If you are UK based, you need to use high modulus silicone, which is suitable for aquatic use. Anything else may have anti-fungacide additives in them. Available from most lfs or glass suppliers.
 
Cracks are very hard to fix... they will usually run unless patched - with another piece of glass, bonded with "glassbond" preferably.
 
Now's the perfect time to upgrade to a bigger tank. :hey: I say, don't bother fixing a crack in a 10 gallon. Sorry --- good luck to you.
