need some opinions

I am going to go get a 55 gallon tank and the store i am getting it from is closing so they are giving away a bunch of diferent cichlids. What isnt free is cheap. What i need is help deciding what the best cichlids for a 55 gallon would be. Thanks.

EDIT: The guy at the lfs told me alot of what he has is from the family psuedotropheous (sp?)

depends on the species. try to get some names ahead of time, that would help.

The store is in las vegas. I actually think I am going to make this tank a brackish tank. So I wont be getting any cichlids for now.

That's too bad.....although brackish tanks have their strong points too....get monos!!!
