Best place to buy the seanary stuff from is ebay.
It's expensive in the lfs... £12 - £17 for a 10" square mat!!
Are you in Hudds? (Looking at your name)
If so, I'm in Dewsbury and have a new mat here which I'd part with for a fiver if you collect it. I bought 3 last time I got some and haven't used the third....yet!

And still cheaper than the lfs
It's much nicer than that pic shows.
1 mat will be plenty because it's big and bushy.
And I spelt it wrong before...it's actually sea-nery

I wouldn't go for that in your link....it's just not tall or bushy enough to protect your fry. It's worth paying the extra for good quality.

My advice would be to get the mat, or some bushy floaty plants, anyway because if she isn't pregnant now she soon will be...it's nature.
To answer your question directly, she looks quite dark in the belly but not yet fat enough to be near the birthing stage.
But that could just be because your picture is a bit fuzzy or the angle it's taken at. My eyes are not as sharp as they once were

I'd guess she's a couple if weeks away yet, plenty of time to get a few more plants
