Fish Fanatic
I just bough 2 fabulous CT Monday. YAY !!!
I didnt think Id ever get one at a LFS around here, so I just sit and drool over ya'lls.
Anyway, one seems to have slightly bulgy eyes, and thats only in comparison to all the other bettas I have ever owned and the ones I have now (all where VT), and the other, one eye is bulggier than the other.
I'm sorry I know its hard to get a diagnosis or help with out pics but Im still in the stone age and have no digital/web camera.
The two CT show no signs of any problems (ones already bubble nesting) and they love their new neighbors , ( they like seeing who can be the bigger bad boy), they eat well and are quite active.
I see no clouding or anything that would cause alarm and I alway inspect them at both feeding times completely to just so I will notice first signs of a problem. And believe me I can worry easily, and I just dont really know this time.
I was wondering if it is popeye if someone can post the threads about it, (sorry Im not that computer savvy) and if you experts have any advice if it is popeye what is good to help heal/soothe it, or could I possible have to "special" bettas, or since Ive never owned CT are their eyes a little more bulgy than VT?
Sorry so long, Thank for listening and for advice
*** What the CT's are in and chemicals:
1/2 tsp salt
10 drops Slime Coat
1 gallon tanks ( talked hubby into upgrading) YAY!! Got to love a man who supports your fishy habbit!!!!
8 drops dechlorinator
I hope the given info helps.
