Need Opinions On Tail Type

I got this guy yesterday because I just loved his coloring, but when I got home I took a closer look at him and noticed he had an unusually wide spread for a VT. So my question is he just a VT with great finnage or something else?? Thank you

no a vt because the tail is not symetrical enough to be sd and deffinately not hm but very nice finnage even though and extremely stunning colouring

I definitely think he's a VT. His tail's not symetrical. Very pretty VT though.

I'm not an expert, but the way that top swoops down makes me think he's a VT. A nice one though, surprising to see so much fin on a fish from an LFS. Do you know if they'd just gotten their stock delivered?

You all don't think it could be a CT x VT Mix since the edges seem to have a little bit of spiking?

VT with some CT.

Hmmm, judging by the spread, it looks to me like he's a mix of VT, CT and SD (or HM, hard to tell). Since VT is the most 'dominant' he's a VT, but I think the spread comes from some distant HM/SD blood.
