Need Info

Sorry if there is another thread about this. I tried the search button and couldn't find anything (more then likely due to my lack of comp skills).

Anyway, trying to get back to the wonderful life of fish raising. Before I always used gravel but would like to start with sand (going to have about a dozen corys). Can I use any type of sand or does it have to be fish sanitized? Would like to use the same as you put in the boxes in the back yards for kids.

you can use argos playsand, quite a few on here use it

yes argos is cheep but it need washing 1st and once the scum has gone it's fine to add to a tank

Okay, I am trying to find Argos, but I think I am realizing that it is only sold in the UK since I cannot find it here in the US at local stores or any website.

Any info on this anyone?

The only thing that I can find is play sand that is brown. Not sure if that would work or not, but also not thinking it would looks as good as Argos.
