Need Help On Identifying This Cichlid

I got a pair of these kinds of cichlids in my 55 gallon tank. They are purple with yellow fins and about 2.5/3 inches long right now. They are moderatly aggressive. The male is very territorial and pushes around my labs. Does anyone know what this fish is?? Ive been looking in databases for cichlids and cant find the name. I will try to take a pic if the description is not good.

Any of these??? A pic would help. Description isnt to help full. How much of the tail is yellow? Are all fins yellow? Is the fish purple striped?

basically.. the whole body is purple except for all the fins which are yellow.. and its not striped.. i will try and take a pic

From those pics it looks a bit like an Acei. Is the underside of the fish yellow?

well the fins on the underside are yellow .. i dont know if thats what you mean though

No i mean the body its self im guessing an Acei as i said before.

yea it might be an acei but the whole body is purple thats the thing. only the fins are yellow

they sound like yellow tail acei's i've 3 of them in my tank which are purple/blue with yellow fins. can't show you a pic of mine cos the batteries have gone in the camera lol

that is some sort of aulonocara or hap not an acei wrong markings is def aulonocara or hap not sure which one though.

Think you may be wrong when ID'ing that fish with a poor pic(no offence) id never say defonatly.

yea its tough taking pics of those bad boys becuase there extremely shy .. the slightest movement i make they swim under the rocks ill try my luck tomorrow morning while i feed them
