Well I found a dead Cory last night and I'm not sure what killed him. He looked pretty healthy, and I know I've not noticed any weird behavior from any of my cory's yesterday. There is a slight pink color to him but doesn't look to out of the ordinary compared to other cory's.

Checked my water parameters yesterday and today
0 ammonia 0 nitrite 5 nitrate PH 7.4

I've also had a weird Cory death a month ago.... In the morning I did my usual water vac and 50 percent water change on the weekends and not notice anything. But at night I looked into the tank and saw a cory shell. The shell wasn't there in the morning because I move all my ornaments during my weekend gravel cleaning.

My water changing schedule is usually consisting of small water change and vac 3 times a week and 1 large water change and vac on the weekends ( the bristlenose pleco pair are messy) Every other fish are healthy, and I've really haven't added any new fish into the tank for over 2 weeks. My blue discus is the most aggressive fish in my tank, but I've never heard of discus taking out cory's before, or maybe the bristle pleco are attacking and eating cory's

Don't know hillmar, you may have to try emergencies section.
Yeah I might have too. Yesterday was another bad day for my tank. I woke up to a bloated and eyes bulging white dwarf parrot. I quickly isolated him in the quarantine tank and started digging for info on his disease. Looks like he had Dropsy with the bulging eyes and inflated stomach. I started treating him for a bacterial infection because I have no idea what triggered it but by night his scale started pine conning out. He just layed there on the bottom breathing heavily and once in awhile just twitch and swim upside down.

After reading about Dropsy, I decided I wasn't going to let him go through the full duration of that deadly disease. I'm really beginning to hate osmoregulation more and more!
Drove around like a mad man at about 12 midnight looking for some clove oil to put the little guy out of his pain. After an hour and 3 late night pharmacy I located some clove oil.

Sorry to hear all this hillmar
Yeah Np WD... I mean if it wasn't for you and the rest of this great community I would have had a lot more casualties. :)
This week ended up pretty good... no deaths or sickness to report, and everybody is eating like pigs. I did get a marble crayfish for my dwarf puffer tank, and he is becoming a pretty efficient bottom clean up crew by himself!
