Polypterus Ornatipinnis get far to big for a statndard 55 gallon tank as they easily reach 18-24 inches -Anne

Im guessing you want african fish?

if so:

1 Synodontis catfish
2 African Butterflyfish
10 x Congo Tetras

Would be a good stocking.
