i have recently setup my new 125lL tank and i am thing about what fish to put in it. so far i think
2 flame gourami
7 neon tetra
1 khuli loach
(let me know if this wont work)
but i want also to have a fish that is larger (10 to 14 cm) and colourful as sort of the 'main fish' i tried to find some lists on the internet of fish and pictures and the only on i have seen is the Agassiz's Dwarf Cichlid but i have no idea about compatibility, special requirements or difficulty
so if there are any fish you can think of that would work please let me know
thanks

You'll need more than one kuhli loach; they're very social and will hid away and pine if kept alone. You want as least six and preferably ten, but their bioload is quite small, so you have the room.

What are the dimensions of the tank, and how hard or soft is your local water.

How are you cycling the tank, btw?

I'm afraid that won't hold any of the good bacteria you need; they live almost exclusively in the filter, plus anything that might have been on them will have died anyway, unless they've been kept in moving water with a source of food/ammonia.

agree with flutter - more kuhlis and we need to know dimensions of your tank and the water parameters to be of most help.
