Wolf eel

Wolf Eel!!! It is said they can bite a broom stick into, about 3 ft long. A real ugly mean looking fish. Good Eating

is the wolf eel freshwater or salt water?

if it is the "psuedochromis" wolf eel than its saltwater. theyre not actually eels. although theres another fish that i think it might be. i do believe theyre both saltwater though

Hardly a wolf, not really an eel, this fierce-looking fish spends the day quietly in a cave, wriggling out at night to feed. Its body is ideally shaped for living in crevices. They're not dangerous unless provoked.

Though some divers say the wolf-eel can bite a broomstick in half, this predator deserves a better reputation. Wolf-eels chomp on crabs, mussels and urchins; they don't eat divers or their brooms.
