(naughty) Tomato Clown Fish Q

ello all

Iv got a tomato clownfish and he/her keeps rubbing there tail on the sand on the bottom of the tank and making holes.... is this normal?? maybe marking there territory?? the place were i get the fish from, the bloke in the shop said theres in the shop all do it and its normal... but its a pain to keep moving the sand back.. as u can see from the pic below the holes are quite big.

is there something i can buy to stop this? or jus something clowns do?? its funny really because when i move the sand back u can see a p*** off look on its face ...lol...

any info would be good
