This is my eyeless yoyo loach. Yes, that's right, eyeless! When I first brought him home I noticed he had no eyes. there are little dents where the eyes should be but they are not opened and are covered with skin, just looks like a little dimple. At first I was very concerned this would be a problem in the survival/health of the fish. But almost two years later he has grown, eats well, plays well, and is thriving!
Sorry for the reflection but I grabbed my phone to get a shot of the afternoon nap time! First when I got my yoyos and clowns I used to panic to see this and end up sticking my hands in the tank to touch them and see if they were alive!! But now I just smile and say "it's nap time for the kids again!"
