My lfs that usually carries pygmy cories won't be carrying them anymore, so I've been looking online for a place to order. I came across nanus cories at liveaquaria.com, but the site listed them as being 2.5 inches long. I know on here they've been listed at a little over 1 inch long. Could a little school (4 or 5) work in a 5 gallon tank, or would this be too small for them?

C. nanus come from Suriname and if rarely if ever seem in the hobby, it is not and never has been commercially collected. It is a species that may grow to a little under 2" SL (50 mm)for females and 1 5/8" SL (43 mm SL) for males. The fish that is being cited as C. nanus comes from Colombia and is probably C126 and a species that get a little larger.

C. nanus pair, which I successfully bred in 1981.
