I am thinking on setting up a reef nano.about 150 Litres what would be the best way of setting it up as i wanted as minimale amount of equipment on show.Would a sump be any good if its only 150L?
A protien skimmer is a great thing to keep your water clear. And a sump never hurts. I suggest for a cheap filter a pengiun bio-wheel. It establishes great biological filtration on the roatating filter media due to the air and water mix, plus it creates a great ledge for any type of kelp to grow on if you buy any, also if you replace the carbon filters with bats of filter media it can really be a good water cleaner. But I think the best way to go is a sand filter.
