I've personally never had a problem with mixing Gobies or Dwarf Angels but have been careful not to get ones that could be confused with each other, ie. Coral Beauty & Potter's Angel instead gone for opposite ends of the spectrum, ie. Coral Beauty & Elibi Angel.
Seems to have worked for me so far but like anything to do with marine fish it's a gamble and you take your chance. what works for one won't necessarily work for another.
