my neon pseudochroms seems to be getting a bit more more aggressive everyday and keeps haveing a go at my clown fish. i havent seen any damaged fins or such yet my i dont want to take the chance. the other day i even got a red firefish because it was on sale for only 5 bucks from 16 and the pseudochromis killed it. so i was thinking about selling the pseudochromis to a lfs so i dont have to worry about any future problems. does anyone agree with this decision? i will miss him though if i do

also if i do get rid of the pseudochromis i was thinking of getting a yellow watchman goby in place of it. the tank is 10 gal. all the fish would be 1 yellow watchman goby, 1 true percula clown, and 1 yellow clown goby(which is in a BIG breeding trap with a big clump of cheato). would that be a good idea?

your help will be appreciated.

I am new but if you have a fish that is attacking/killing other fish its probably a good idea to get rid of it, its not going to get better but it may get worse.

Pseudochromis aldabraensis (Neon Dottyback)

You have already experienced this fish can be lethal!! It is capable of causing maximum damage in minimum time to its fellow tank mates. It is best kept in a moderatley aggressive tank with larger species. You cannot house any large fish so the choice is simple. GET RID (or species tank)
I feel you may need to reasearch your purchases more. The choice you made to home a placid Firefish with a aggressive Dottyback seems very foolhardy to me.

A yellow Watchman goby would be better suited to community living, but i would not keep one in a 10g.

IMO a 10g is no place for any fish that can achieve more than 1inch in length.

No, the watchman requires a good sand area to scavenge on and burrow into under the rockwork, something that is not abundant in a 10g.
The dottyback is being agressive because it is being kept in a tank that is far too small for it and therefore should be removed, IMO not to be replaced as a 10g is fully stocked with a perc and a goby
