Nano Reef Powerhead & Live Rock

I have an approx 70 litre tank, I'm now looking to buy a powerhead for the cheapest possible price before I go adding my live rock (in the UK).
What price am I looking at here and can anybody link me some recommendations as I really don't know what I'm looking for here. Also where is the best place to position it in my tank?

well theres no set price just get good makes for as cheap as you can and position them wherever, you need to blow on the live rock

koralia 1. Has a nice spread of flow and would suit your size tank too.

Can be had for about £20 online. comes with a very good magnet mounting system.

very quiet. You ideally need to get the flow around your rock so try and not place your rock in a heap or this could create deadspots.

Aiming the powerhead towards the rock should then create a good flow over and around the rock you have.

im using a koralia 1 in a planted tank and they are very good, but any purchased now will be noisy most possibly due to a batch going out without washers, but if you email hydor theyll send you a washer for free!

Thanks! I have had a look online and found different models of this powerhead, which one is the correct one to use from;

Hydor 1 Wave Pump, 1700 litres per hour
Hydor 1 Circulation Pump, 1500 litres per hour

I'm unsure on which one I should be buying what is the difference?

circulation pump is what you want which will blast water around the tank.

Yep thats the one. Would highly recommend them as well, have used the "1" and the "nanos" for awhile and had no problems at all.

It's pretty daunting when you're new to this and there's so many different models of things!
