Mystery Snail

My mystery snail has layed eggs several times, In the water, and out of the water, And I had heard if they are in the water there dead, But the ones that are layed outta water eventually fall into the water, and I was wondering how I get them to stay above the water??

I do occasionally find some of mine in the water, but the majority of them will stick onto the canopy until they hatch, so it shouldn't be something to worry about unless they're all falling in.
