How big is he?

pleco is around 7cm only. Other fishes in tropical is around 10cm including shark.

Its okay to put him in there if you got a lot of space to hide,most ‘shark’ dont do any harm to them.

Should be fine plecos are hardy let him settle in. There's so many of them it's hard to tell which ones which but he's a cutie though! Should be fine where you have him tbh
