yes, its not at the surface right? its in the substrate?

Yeah it's in the substrate.

What would the one next to it on the second pic be?

How powerful is the biorb lighting? Don't worry i found out that the light is 10 watts powerfull.

not sure on the second one, i cant remember the name.

the biorb lighting is weak

its an 11watt halogen bulb (correct if wrong) and the light from these isnt that good for growing plants.

It's powerful enogh for the cabomba.

What do you think of htis plant?

most anubias are fine
echindorus species are fine
and a lot of surface plants are fine.

I have java fern aswell in the tank and that requires sundued lighting and the cabomba requires more lighting so how long should i leave the lights on for?

java fern needs subdued lighting? where did you hear about that!?

i would have them on for 8 hours a day, 2-10pm works well if your at school or work etc
