In my fairly-uneducated (as far as varieties of fish go, other than the common ones) opinion it looks kinda like a Tetra of some sort...maybe a Neon?

What kind of fish is pictured in your signature? It's cool!

its not a neon i even have a neons and there shaped totally differnt and its larger and yes that is a close up

Looks like a 'stressed' neon to me -_-

Can u maybe get some more pics?

its not a neon its to large to be a neon and like i had it for like 3 years and thats what it looks like when its not stressed. So i have no idea what it is

There is a 'false' neon, Paracheridon simulans but it is pretty similar in size and colouration to a neon. I would have said from the pic it looks like a neon with neon tetra disease, where the top half of the body becomes a pale grey colour. It definitely looks like a Paracheridon or cheridon species, by the body shape and adipose fin.
Heres a photo of P. Simulans, sorry the text isnt in english:P. Simulans

its the only fish of its kind in the tank and like i said i had it for three years but.. who knows? it could

well u just have to trust me its far to large to be a neon unless theres differnt kinds? (besides cardinal)
