Mystery Fish - Can Anyone Help!

I bought a 2nd hand tank a couple of weeks ago which came with a load of fish. There's a few mystery catfish inthere and no ones got the foggiest idea what they are so I was hoping some of you lovely people could shed some light on it
Here's the first fella. If its any help he loves swimming across the surface of the water and splashing it everywhere. Ignore the state of his fins - he got mangled by an angel fish before we had him. At the mo he's about 4 inches long

Next one is this little guy. He's very quite, just goes about his business without bothering anyone, about 2 inches long but quite chunky (if that makes sense, lol!)

Last up is this gorgeous coloured sucker. We think he might be a chinese algea eater but could be wrong. Roughly 3 inches in length, got a really big mouth when he sticks himself on the glass so we called him Steve in honour of Steve Tyler!

I'd really appreciate if anyone could help us out with this.....ta!!

first one looks like a Dianema of some kind, (need to see tail).
second looks like a Brochis splendens but could be a young Brochis multiradiatus
third is defiantly a golden sucking loach Gyrinocheilus aymonieri

The first is probably Megalechis thoracata (im sure its not a Dianema, the colour is too dark and the head too thin), the second Brochis splendens and the third Gyrinocheilus aymonieri.

as for the third it stumps my maybe a golden chinese algea eater ?

With the brochis cory, if he's the only one you have in the tank then he'd benefit from having some more of his own kind, say a group of brochis 3-4 or more strong, also i would advise keeping an eye on the chinese algae eater as they can get aggressive and territorial towards other fish as they mature.

Hoplosternum thoracatum is an old dissused name, the new name for the species is Megalechis thoracata, scientists, dont you love them

bah, I still use hoplosternum ... they're called hoplos not megas (only short thing I manage to make from megaletchis) for a reason

search for hoplo catfish for more info ... they eat a bit like pigs
