Mystery creature discovered in aquarium

It's a bug larvae... almost looks terrestrial ( like a caterpillar ) rather than aquatic???

Looks kinda like a Sisyrid nymph, but more like a terrestrial caterpillar.

Looks more like a caddisfly larva to me. Does it have little "pinchers" on its back side?
Looks like this to me as well. I thought all of them armored themselves with little pieces of wood or rock but when I search online a number of species do not armor themselves with debris.

I wondered if it was a caddis that has lost his armor, or hasn't built it yet. The way the sand is sticking to it and it seems to be rooting around, almost like it's trying to burry itself.
