Mysterious Black Spiral Cone Snails

they're tougher than you think! Just pick them out with your fingers and move them to where you want them.
 
When I have to pick out trumpet snails I put a load in a food bag and then I have to use a rolling pin to crush them  (I always do this as I think it's kinder to kill them this way than throw them in a bag and then in the bin still alive) Their shells are harder than you think

i found a little pond snail in my tank and spared him. lol. he literally cruises next to my giant mystery snail. its cute.

Actually, over the time since I was last here. The snails have been laying eggs non-stop. Luckily, my ghost shrimp have been munching on them in the 15 gallon and my betta has also been enjoying them in his tank.

I just crush them between my fingers in the 6 foot tank and my mollies eat them.
