My Water Readings

hi i set up my tank on monday , and got a water test done and it says ,

Amm : 0
Nitrite : 0.35
Nitrate : 7.0
pH : 7.9

are these readings ok, what is the range

Is it cycled? If not are you doing a fishless cycle? If so you need to add some ammonia to keep the bacteria going and test it again 12 hours later. If you are using fish to cycle, i would do a 20% water change to get rid of the nitrites. If it is cycled there should be 0 nitrites so you arent quite there yet.

ok are you adding ammonia? have you read up on fishless cycling?
