Hey all, this is my main aquarium but im hoping to get something much bigger in the future, hopefully when the SRTS start spawning.

meh need a much better cam than this rubbish pocket canon one ;/

The male jag use to be in this tank but had to put him in the mbuna tank by himself and move the mbunas over here.Poor guy was upside down for 2days, wasnt sure he would pull through.Can see that his skin is still hanging off him and the pink is being exposed, ouch! ... red tex can be mean!

oh .. does anyone know which is best settings to take pix for Canon Powershot cams ..? Ive tried normal, macro and auto HI settings but the pix still comming out poor ;( Ta!

Why are you keeping those fish together?

Generally not advised to keep african and amaerican fish together due to agression and water requirements. Each to their own though and if it's working then congrats as it does look a nice setup, will most likely need to get a larger tank once the jag and texas get nearer to their full size.

Yeah it is bit wacky combo as said but seems to work ok and have had them in there since Nov and no deaths.Usually the firefish and electric blues are in diff tank. Believe it or not the little 3" yellow lab alpha male dominates the 125g and even chases the big 9" green male tex LOL he has his own cave and no one can go near! ... once the male jag heals up i will sell the pair off since he can handle himself from the female tex then move the few firefish and electric blues back to their 50g and keep the SRT breeders, a few demasonis,yellow labs and rest in their 125
