It also baffled me before Biff, i'll be honest. But never really bothered me?
I understand how it helps, I work with people who also have dyslexia and they use similar techniques in which help them.

I always saw it as career oppurtunity for you as a newpaper article writer :shifty:

James. :good:

Doesn't bother me in the slightest ^^ And I get what you mean about reading longer sentences- I end up skipping words and whole lines sometimes XD

thank you flute you know
exactly what i mean. its funny
you know i don't know why but i
have gone back to some times
typing words backwards something
i have not done since i was a kid
and i don't know why i have been putting
it down to stress

Typing backwards! That's a new one :D I have to separate all my sentences so that I can read them properly XD And I always end up having to read through my posts 4 or 5 times to make sure they make sense before posting- and still usually end up editing them :hyper:

thanks for all the support
it makes me feel better then
one certain person comes along
makes a mess of my life thanks
a lot Mr well i think you lot in the UK
will know who i am on about

I honestly never even noticed until you pointed it out. No problem here!
cheers

Biff, have you also tried changing the skin, to see if that helps - pale blue is good and may well help, also try the ones with a coloured background. Many dyslexics have problems with a white page

I hadn't even noticed the way you typed me old mucca

Seffie x

i am using the black background
at the moment with white writing
and finding it not to bad :good:
cheers for the tip seffie xx
.
try a blue background and white writing. i remember a study, 20 years ago, showing its better to read and more relaxing for the eyes. in the days before windows. wordperfect had a specific driver to achieve this. and in a dos environment too.

Well we have spoken about it, and i dont think you should have to explain yourself either.
Makes me wonder why it matters to anyone on the forum
- i mean, does it ruin their lives to read a few short lines rather than one long line?
Its just ridiculous!
And then to have the audacity to put you down for it,
not only on the forum but in private too?!!
Personally i find it easier to read than long lines, but hey, each to their own eh ;)

Well we all love your short sentences mr B  :D
I quite agree! :good:

I honestly never even noticed until you pointed it out. No problem here!
cheers

me too!

I dont have a problem with your style of writing, but I do have a problem with your attitude of trying to proove me wrong today! I explained on the diadema thread I had one, and was giving information from personal experience, not 5 year old incorrect information you found on the internet. Then I find on my wanted add after I replied to someone else regarding that tank being too far away, you proceed to use the aa route finder to calculate the exact mileage and time!!! because I have GUESSED the mileage.

I have no idea what I have done to you!

ok will agree to disagree, matter forgotten :good:

* holds hands up

Ah well I was another one to post about your typing style recently. Made a lighthearted post, which was taken in the wrong context and straight away taken as an offensive comment. Typical too that it was someone else who decided how my comment should be read rather than yourself. But there's a drama queen around every corner eh!

It doesn't bother me the way you type, although I do sometimes find myself trying to read a poem as star4 has said

I know many people who are dyslexic and forum users, as you know from my pm that not all of them announce it ;) But you are definitely the first who I have come across to deal with it by typing in the way you do.

I have to agree with other comments, I've always taken it that you used a mobile or just had a tiny moniter

Either way, don't let it get you down and don't sit and sulk about it. Nobody is particularly bothered as this thread points out :p

I spend ages preparing a normal reply to a post, reading re-reading and deleting simple mistakes that look so normal to me,
I did awful at school because this, but in them days teachers thought i was being lazy and did not care, it would frustrate me so much, but i managed to get through, never say sorry or feel badly about what, who or how you do things. If people have the time to criticize then they obviously have issues within themselves
