hello i bought a jbl combiset testing kit. it comes with kh. ph, no2, no3, and fe, but doesnt have ammonia, which is what im confused about. is fe considered ammonia? if not, should i buy an additional ammonia tester? what do i do?
The test kit labeled "Fe" is probably a test kit for Iron (they do make one.) Yes, you will need to find a test kit specifically for Ammonia (NH3) and the important thing about all your tests will be that they are of the liquid reagent type (ie. they use test tubes and liquids, rather than paper strips.) Are your current test kits liquid-based?
An ammonia test is quite easy to find in most of the world Agusf.
If you do a Google search using NH3 as the search term, you can expect to find a test kit rather quickly. We cannot give any more direct link to an ammonia test kit without violating rules here on TFF but you should find them easy as can be to find with that hint.
