alot of people consider fake plants to be a planted tank.

Lovely tanks, though I'm not keen on the betta bowl (left hand side) in the second betta picture, you'll have to do lots of water changes for such a small tank.

I do know why your top tank looks greenish though.
Your taking pictures against a green wall, try putting a black or white cardboard in back and see if there's a difference.
