My Tank

WoW major change since the first pic. I far prefer your latest setup as I think it looks far more natural.

That is such a huge improvement.

The new background transforms the tank and I love the sand. I would still add more plants, but I am biased towards heavily planted tanks.

Having spent ages sorting my tank out I've now bought a Trigon 190. The only problem being I don't have room for both tanks. I'll be spending time over the BH weekend sorting out both before moving the fish into the new one.

OK,

I've now set up the 190, having transferred the fish, the plants, the ornaments, the filter and some of the sand (in a pair of tights) from the old tank. Tested the water for the first time this morning and all appears ok.

I'll be testing daily to ensure I get no problems, and once I'm happy with the stability of the tank I'll start adding more fish.....................if I can decide what to add!!!

More plants and another piece of bogwood are also to be added as well in the next few weeks.

 Wow - you just keep improving your setup ! Well done :)
Lovely great big tank they have now. Are you going to add some more fish now that you have so much more space ?

Ps: any reason why you have the smaller filter in the 190L as well ?

I think "dutoits" accidentally posted his pic on your thread - can't see why else he would post a pic of his fish on your thread

dutoits I don't think you should be hijacking his thread with your pics :/
They are entirely different setup's. Don't knock it, because that's what it's looking like.

Bloozoo

I've transferred everything from my old tank into the new one as I didn't have space for both tanks. Thinking about it maybe I could just have added the sponge from the old filter into the new one to help the new one establish itself.

As mentioned above I am testing daily to ensure that I don't have any problems with the transfer.

Oh and I can't see any Tiger Barbs in my picture..........

Good tanks but those golden chinese algae eaters are be a problem as they grow, just warning you in case you don't already know.

nice tanks i would get loads more plants in and somemore boogwood and itl look great but yits improved 100% since i last saw it

Very fatbloke, i was looking at ur tank and relized that iv seen one of ur wood models before, then i relized.....SWALLOW AQUATICS in gravesend, lol i noticed ur location just after.

Me too,

Whitey,

You're spot on, Swallow Aquatics is my lfs. I really like the shop, the selection is good, the layout is good and so are the staff.

I've actually added some more plants today and I've got another piece of bogwood, which is much bigger than the existing piece. When I take out the old filter and the old sand I'll be adding that, I'll also be adding some java fern.

More fish will follow once I'm completely happy that the move has not created any water quality problems.

(Edited for bad punctuation and bad spelling!!!)
