Hi, as everyone has stated you are massively overstocked. Now as you have recently bought these fish they are all probbly very young and quite small. This means that the bio-load, at this moment isn't overloaded. However as the fish grow, so too will the bioload meaning your tank is going to have major major problems. Not onlly will there be too much bio-load which is going to destroy any balance you want on the tank, thus creating a lot of disease etc.. and killing your fish, but also there will be no space for the fish to swim or have any territories.
On a side note you need to return the Red Tailed Black sharks first of all, well 2 at least. These fish simply wont tolerate their own kind at all. Pretty soon they will be ripping each other apart especially in a tank too small. Don't worry, we have all made mistakes when learning but it is in the best interests of the fish ( and ur wallet) that you rehome them.

5 hatchet fish - depending on species 1.5"-3" x 5 = 7.5"-15"
3 red tail black sharks - 5" x 3 = 15"
2 blue garami (sp?) - 4" x 2 = 8"
4 zebra danios - 2" x 4 = 8"
5 red paltys - 2-3" x 5 = 10-15"
5 black platys - 10-15" again
3 black frogs - no idea
3 shrimp (tiny ones)
2 blind cave fish - 3.5" x 2 = 7"
Adding them all up, that's 114" of fish at minimum size, 131" at full potential. The rule of thumb is new tanks should be stocked at 1" per gallon. Established can stretch it to 1.5-2" per gallon with plenty of maintenance. Your tank is 33g, right?
And that's not including the frogs and shrimp, as I dont know what the rules for those are. You need to work out which ones you could realistically keep, and return the rest asap. Even as babies they've got to be overstocked.

all the fish labelled alright or good choice are fish which would be happy in that tank - but you have to choose between the platys and danios - personally I would keep the danios
the cave fish are shoalers - and you don't have enough space, also black frogs don't exist lol, are they actually black?

You have the same tank as me and I am well overstocked at the minute. in fact I am possibly 1.5 x the reccomended.
Differences with my tank and yours:
Mine is heavily planted.
Mine is well established.
You have approx 3 times the amount of fish I have so you are about 5 times the recommended stocking.
You may think that because you don't have disease at the mo you are OK, but believe me. It is not a case of IF. It is not a case of WHEN. It is most definately a case of VERY SOON.
As stated by previous posters, the sharks and Clown Loaches defo need to go and quick. for one, when the whitespot hits the tank (which it defo will with that amount of load) the clowns will get it straight away and spread it very quickly.
The shrimps will struggle to survive too long because they are very very sensitive to any changes in water.
My guess is with the load you have that once disease gets its hold, the whole tank could die within days.
The Frog (s) need to be taken out as well.
As a guide you should be looking at about 30inches of fish total in there, and we are talking 30 inches of small fish, not 5 sharks.
I shouldn't get too upset by the comments, as loads of people have this problem when they first start.
Neons are best introduced to well established tanks and not new because they are very sensitive.
On a positive note, The Fluval Duo Deep is an eccellent tank and is a great price for an all in kit.

Like has been said mate don't get too hung up about this. When I first came to this forum I was overstocked and got the same reaction. I went through the same thing as you of they're fine etc but I listened to these guys and sorted the stocking out and the fish have really rewarded me. They're happier, the colors are better and its nicer to see. Listen to these guys and you won't go far wrong.

im happy with them as im new to this and dont want any fish harmed so i will take the advice
my neighbour has 2x 6 foot tanks the clowns will go to him as will most of the other fish
im going to keep the hatchets,danios,neons, 1 shark
as for the test it wasnt me that done it it was a friend so i havent a clue what it was all i know was he said it was ok

Excellent that you're taking action. I'd suggest not keeping a shark though, it'll likely tear up your other fish and really needs a larger tank. You'll also want to add any new fish slowly, only a few a month especially as your tank is still very new.
You say you've had your tank set up for a month, did you fishless cycle or get mature filter media from an established tank? I'd get a good liquid test kit for ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and pH and keep an eye on your water stats, if ammonia or nitrites are anything above zero you'll be wanting to do small water changes every other day.

the interpet filter came out of the tank i had before it was in there around 2 months

hi good tank setup good selection of fish you have the corect amount of fish in your aquarium with soom good filteration will EVREYONE STOP BUGGING COOKY IF THE FISH ARE HAPPY IT IS FINE

What the'#';].Cookie said he was not offended.Obviously you don't know anything about fish to be suggesting that the stocking is fine.How old are you and what fish do you keep? Silver dollars in a 10 gallon tank...
