The setup looks really nice, plants are good and healthy, lots of texture, good pic, all in all - well done!

nice tank!
Thanks! :good:

Thanks - i've just had to cut the vallis right back as it had reached the other end of the tank and was starting to block out too much light. I'm also adding some dwarf riccia to a small piece of bogwood to give a bit more texture and depth.

The second pictures if way better!! Nice fish too.
Yes, the first was only added for comparison to show how eell it had done in the first few of weeks. It needed background and some plant growth, which are both evident in the second picture. The tiger lotus lily (very small over to the right) is lovely now - you can see one of the leaves in the pic above of the dolichancistrus.
Yes, I like the fish too!
New additions are 3 corydoras metae, and as mentioned earlier I now have two pseudolixothus dumas. There are also 7 rummy nose tetra and 5 trifasciatus pencil fish for some mid water movement that I think I forgot to mention earlier.

Thanks all - will take a new one and post it to show what has changed at some point.

Update since upgrading to a larger main tank and adding another smaller tank which I won in a raffle :hyper:
Upgraded to 30"x18"x18"...

...and this now houses some larger cats.
Tetranematichthys wallacei

along with a small Jaguar Cat (Liosomadoras oncinus) and a selection of plecs, some shown in the earlier pics.
The smaller tank, an AquaOne AquaStart 500 is now home to all the smaller aucheipterids along with some tetras (X-ray/Cardinals) for movement.
Here is one of the male C.perugiae:

And here is a female:

One of the Tatia sp2 (which have bred, but the fry did not survive for more than a few weeks):

Here's one of 2 Parotocinclus cf.eppelyi I picked up recently:

One of 6 Imparfinis sp1 (possibly Imparfinis pseudonemacheir) - great little fish who spend most of the daylight hours buried in the sand!:

And finally, what could be (too small to be sure at the moment) a Centromochlus schultzi:

As you can tell, like my catfish!
