I have decided to challenge myself to spawn my Amano.
I currently have 5 Amano in a 20gal that I caught myself from a local stream. There are always 1000s of them clinging onto the banks.
Of the batch I caught this year, I have 2 females and 3 males.
All look just like normal Amano, but the biggest female (who is now egg bound) has the most extreme reds on her I have ever seen.
They are kept with a paired up male and female Dwarf Puffer (that totally ignore them btw) and when she first got her eggs, I planned on just letting her release them for the puffers to eat.
But as she is so pretty, I've decided to move her with her eggs to a different tank by herself.
Any tips would be very appreciated!

Sorry for the huge pics!
