Hi, I've got a 63 liter (13 gallon) two foot tank. Right now i've got: 2 platies, 4 guppies, 6 neons and 14 platy fry in a breeder net. One of my guppies are also pregnant but i'm not sure i'm going to save any or many of her fry when she has them.

I was just wondering if anyone could help with how many fish i can actually keep in this tank just so i don't go over the top.

Other than these fish i was thinking of just getting 2 corys. Would this be ok?

You really are stocked to the limit now. Do you intend to keep the first lot of fry also, if so, you will be well over the limit. If you're not keeping any fry, then with good filtration and regular water changes you could add a couple of corys.

yeah well i think i'll keep a few of the best fry but i'll probably give most of them to my local store.

If you do keep any, make sure they don't interbreed with their brothers/sisters or parents...
Personally i'd leave the tank as it is and rehome the fry when they're older enough as you'll always need that extra bit of space with livebearers as they'll breed for as long as they live.

will it really cause a problem if i let them breed?

I'm not going to save any of their fry if they did breed though anyway.

Some people say there's nothing wrong with inbreeding in the short term, but then again thats why we have so many ruined fish variations/pedigrees and genetic disorders because of it.
Introducing new blood to your livebearers lines and preventing them from inbreeding is very important; it significantly reduces the chances of a range of genetic problems like reduced lifespan/sudden death sydrome, poor/small batches of fry, genetic swim bladder disorders and mutation, bad imune system(the biggest problem of inbreeding) and weak fry etc for example.
