Here they are still in the bag. Yes, one bag. :/ I'm not so sure it was a good idea but they did leave each other alone the whole time. :dunno:

You will have to excuse the glass. After the fiasco last night I haven't had the chance to clean it. :(

Very nice puffers, they're awesome  . I read that once they get to a certain size, they need to be changed to brackish environment, like above 2 inches I think :dunno:

Not these ones actually. I had to do a lot of research and make some phone calls to get full verification. These are not Green Spotted Puffers that are brackish. These are a freshwater puffer.

I think they are cool though and overall I'm happy. Just have to get the stand built for the 45 so I can get it all setup, planted, etc... and get them into there permanent home. :)

That isn't a GSP? Could have fooled me. :/ What kind of puffers are they?

Tetraodon Schoutedeni

My LFS actually looked it up in there order book as they are regular stock for them. :)

They are also called the Spotted Congo Puffer. A Green Spotted Puffer, Spotted Green Puffer, and the Spotted Congo Puffer are commonly confused....

It had me confused for weeks because my LFS was saying they were freshwater, I thought they were Green Spotted, and everyone here was saying they were brackish. :/

Edit: I also saw Green Spotted Puffers at the other LFS in town and when you look at them there are some major differences when you can see them up close and personal. These ones are more of a flourescent greenish/yellow. A green spotted is very green in comparison.

Wow. Never knew that. Great website, really explained how to differentiate them.

Learn something new everyday. :D

They are fast and busy too. :) I can't get another shot. :/

Here is there home, version 1 of Pufferville. :D

When I get the 29 Gallon setup the danios come out. I haven't figured out what I am going to do with the Danios yet. :/

The puffers don't seem to care, they just keep brousing the tank. :)

Well, I caught both on camera. Some creative work in positioning and learning that my shutter flashes faster with the flash. :)

Pictures 1 & 3 are one puffer and 2 & 4 are the other one.

I was looking at the 2 picutres and I have a feeling they found the ghost shrimp I released into the tank. :p

I figure I can do that once a week. 10 ghost shrimp for .25 each. :)

They aer a lot more active than I expected and they are fun. :)

Well, I'm come to a decision to biotope the 45 Gallon Long I have for them. :) And, of all places, that tank is going in the kitchen. ;)

Well, I now understand why they go up and down and up and down the sides of the tank. :D

4 Puffers for the price of two.
