My slight fear of bettas

FairyAngelFish, I know exactly what you mean. When I got my first betta, I was freaked out too. It just takes some getting used to. You get used to them and visa versa. If you really want a betta, go for it. You just need to do what has to be done to take good care of them. Do it and don't think about it. And soon you won't have the nervousness you have now, you won't even think about it w/o having to not think about it! Ya know?! LOL!

If it's netting them that has you worried, don't use one. I use a cup, but you'll need some kind of lid just in case he decides to try to take a leap. Only one of my bettas has ever jumped. And that was while he was in the net. He flipped himself right out of it! That's when I stopped useing the net. Now, not to scare you more, but... Things happen, and you just deal and go on. Sometimes you learn different ways to do things this way.

Good luck with whatever you decide! Erin

One day Chris they will attack you in your sleep, and don't expect to come crying to me :sly:
