My search for ammonia phew I'm exhausted

I decided to do a fishless cycle in my 46 bow. So i went out in search of ammonia. I thought this would be easy. I went to genuardis bought some non scented brought it home discovered it had a detergent in it. then I returned that checked like 3 other stores that had none found another brand at walgreens brought that home discoevered you can't use any that has a surfactant in it. returned that then went to wal-mart. the local wal-mart had a sticker on the shelf that said "Clear ammonia" but they were out so I drove to another. finally found some in the other walmart that has only ammonium hydroxide and water. I never thought it'd be that hard. But finally got my fishless cycle started tonight after 2.5Tbsp of ammonia I've got a 6ppm reading and off to a running start.

Why don't you go to pharmacy at first and ask them about 10% ammonia (or any other chemicals you'll need)? I think it's easier to find chemicals from store where those chemicals are used too...

I actually went to a cvs, Rite-Aid and Walgreens. Most of the staff there that I asked looked at my like I had many heads.
