My Roma 200 After 4 Months And My New 40L (Pic'S)

hello not been on here for a wile and a lot has changed added plants and nearly finished stocking my 200L community tank got the 40L tank from a friend as a freebie :fun: so went to my LFS and got a fluval U1 filter and some sand a heater plus a blue backdrop witch is how it stands now. will be doing my weekly maintenance on the roma saturday so some water and a good squeeze of the sponge pad will be going into the tank and i will start my cycle.... :S hopefully i wont take that long with the used media but my plans are to get some dwarf puffers and plant it out with real plants with a hagen(Yeast+ sugar) Co2 kit and a bit of bog wood some Otto's and maybe a plec?? the plan is to plant it all out get some more neons or something for my Roma house them in there for a month or so then move them up to the 200 and get the puffers B-)

i had this tank and couldnt do a thing with it! was like having a bad hair day for 5 months ( till i sold it) no idea what it was, nothing i did looked or felt right with it... where as you have made yours look fantastic........its obviously a "me" thing

thanks for you kind reply i was looking at your old DP tank last night! looked well good how many do you think i could keep in there? my LFS said 8!!! :crazy: i was more thinking like 4/5?? 8 would be cool though! lol

and where do you live?? lol c. sterbai at £6.50?? i bought 8 at £12.95 each!!

thanks mate! and reading Berkshire they are a bit expensive around here was going for a pair of blue rams but they was £32 quid for the pair........ :blink: :crazy: are rams hard to keep then? mine seem very happy and lively?

its only a 40 :( wish it was 60 lol buy hey it was freeee :hyper: and reading dude why.... :blink:

I Swear im getting annoyed LMAO i spend over £110 on mine yet i hear people selling freakin 80 gallon tanks for £50 :angry:
 
ok then dude! heres some from today got a hagen Co2 kit in there now with some live plants one attached to a bit of bog wood B-) lol when i set it up a few weeks ago i used the water from my weekly water change form the 200 to fill it (Pleco poo and all):nod: then cleaned the filter foam from the Roma in the water of the 40L and took the sponge form the little fluval U1 i have in there and socked up some of the dirty water to give the bacteria a better chance of growing witch seemed to work as 3 weeks later its cycled :D so i have 6 harlequins in there now witch ill leave in there to keep the bacteria alive ready for my puffers witch i will be getting in about a months time then move them up to the 200 i will get a few more plants and some more wood maybe a few pebbles as well and im going to add a few otto's at some point to.
