While searching my files for another image, I came across this pic of my kitchen & remembered you’d asked to see it. The stove came in turquoise & I had an automotive paint shop make up the same color for the refrigerator & dishwasher. Came out terrific! I painted over the butcher-block Formica countertops & added the polished aluminum trim.

It makes me want to cook a dessert with half plastic 1960s ingredients. All it needs is a small metal framed aquarium with a too large fish in it - a lot of the kitchens of my childhood had that overlooked decor element.
You have a great eye for detail.

That's just too much colour even for me, and I love colour, If the yellow and pink weren't so bold it would be easier on the eye. Yes I only have 1 eye, the other one comes out and night and sleeps in a jar of salt water.

my Papa (Grandpa) had a glass eye and had spares upstairs. When we were children and stayed with my grandparents we were always told to behave because we were being watched…scared us to death, but we always went straight to bed and straight to sleep

Love the kitchen and the bold colours. The stove is awesome. Did you swap out the cook top on the stove or was it originally flat.

I actually do have a horn above my left eye. It's only little (about 5mm high x 10mm diameter) but it's growing.
