finally got round to taking some pics.
my tank currently has:
1 guppy
3 swordtails
3 neons were given them, will be getting more soon.

nice tank, the livebearers look small or is it the camera deceptiveness.

the livebearers are juveniles 1 male has his gonopodium forming and his sword is strating to branch of not visable in the picture. there about 3-4 cm

i should have the snails tommorow so i can get rid of some of that unsightly algea

no dont know what strain. i think it may be german. but shes pregnant

hmmmm those before and after "cleaning" pics are pretty suspect. I think you may have done more than just clean. Unless.. you're David Blaine arent you?

ilike it, especialy the swordtails and the black gravel brings the fish colours out better so its importnat.
you should have a nice background on there too would make alot of difference

no i added the plants after and got so carried away i forgot pics

today been to the LFS to pick up some amano shrimp. but to my dismay they had gone up 1.50 so they were now 3.50 each. no way!.

so i came home with 2 britlenose plecos. they are awesome!.

any way more pics i bought some HC and planted it around the tank so it spreads.

i dont know what type of snail this is. any ideas its an elongated shell but defo not trumpet

where did you get the HC?

it looks like a pond snail, a common boring pest one. remove it if i was you.
