my red betta

I posted in Trop Fish Emergencies and Members aquarium pics with this problem but I thought Id throw it in here too just in case since shes a betta. My red girl has this humungeous bubble over her left eye that grew there in hours! What is it and what can I do?? Is it contageous to my other bettas, danios and corys??? Please please please any help would be good!!!!!!!!!

my mollie girl had the exact same thing come on her and I gave her a salt bath and she was well in two days it is a eye fungus I think I dont know about using salt on bettas but it sure did wonders for my black mollie post m. les or CM one and see what they think I hope she gets better for you I know you are crazy over your ladies.

That happened to my Molly to, and all i did was give her some of the same stuff that I gave them when I treated them for Fin Rot. It went away, and she acted fine. But about 2.5 weeks later she just turned over and died,

Dont know if that helped any, but it was worth a try, and thanks for all the help!

My betta suffered from this several times-always search for the primary cause (generally water quality), while treating this as a symptom. I found that Bettamax worked well (and a great name-the only good contribution from Sony!)

Try to get it going as quickly as possible, since this can be difficult to treat.

I am glad someone else has heard of betta max besides me it does wonders for bettas. How is your girl doing? We havent heard anything from you on her I was just wondering. Please post us and let us know how she is doing.
