Heres a few pics of the pond that took months to plan and only two days to get dug out and running.

the site - next to the green shed, which will eventually be turned into a summer house.

Ive got more pics of the waterfall as its been altered again and is looking better, but still on the camera.

   That's awsome i can see why it took so long to plan. What are you planning to put in it. Are you going to put more plants or leave it alone. No matter what it is nicely done.
:D

Thanks MasterP.
I have 6 goldfish in it now as i need to get them in for winter and try to cycle the filter before it gets too cold. Two will be taken out in October as they are more fantail than anything else, as hubby bought them thinking they would be fine. The other two he got are more shubunkin than fantail. I got two goldfish.

Here are the goldfish. The little one died in quarantine sadly

this shubunkin mix will stay in the pond

The pond is roughly 600-800 uk gallons and the deepest part is 4 foot, and is bigger than the pic shows as hubby cut out a bit more.
Theres more plants to go in, have to get some baskets for them.
Need to get pics of the fish in the pond but I have to wait until the sun shines at a certain angle to see them properly.

:)

Thanks everyone. Will take a while to look more natural :)

Youre right i do want to but I dont think its really big enough for a koi. Will see in the spring though.

A few pics of the crew in the pond
