ok, I am getting a male betta tomorrow, I have picked him out already 
he is a veil , Bright deep blue, with bright purple!! and his tail is so long and perfect!
I been looking at them for about a week now and I finally found a store that was treating them right and are very healthy. (all other LFS bettas has bits missing of the tail, sad, depressed, and flaky)
I have my tap water in a bucket outside, I added the Chlorine neutralizer.
I pick up the tank in the morning along with the heater, ill set that up, and add the water, do a pH test etc etc.. and make sure everything is all Okies. If everything seems to be in order, ill go pick my boy up in the afternoon.
as i am getting a tank for my betta, that is a good size, can you house fry in there if I seperated the betta from them?
