I got home from work today and lo and behold, not one but BOTH of my plecs were out. It was almost as if they were posing for me!

Here is my tiger.

Ummm, I thought I was sure. What else could he be?

Very nice coloration on yer common it its a common that is...

Actually, I never really looked up what he was. I got to looking tonight and I guess he is actually probably a sailfin.

Just had to add these. I caught him just 'hanging' around. (Excuse the bad pun. )

Nice Gibbiceps Plec and a nice Tiger Peckoltia, I know how rare it is for two Plecs to venture out a once to weldone on the photos, very nice.

Nice plecos!

I think it is a common, if it were a gibby (sailfin) the fin would be much larger. Great looking common though!

yeah, don't hink its a gibby. I have one and the fin is HUGE (hes about 7 inches, and the fin stands about 3 inches high off his back)!!!! Great pics though. I'm still after that elusive pic of my gibby with his fin up!!!! :D

lol! Yeah, I know what you mean...my gibby, Kirby never has his fin up. And when he does...I'm always two seconds too late with the camera.

But I must say, that is one great looking common, Snuff...I've never seen one with colors like that. Got any more pics of the tiger?

I just snapped this pic of him peeking out last night. I don't get many chances to take pics of him. If I am lucky, I see his tail sticking out of whatever cave he decides to hide in.

EDIT: I also forgot to ask. When I first got the common, he got nipped at a bit, and his top fin and tail were pretty badly mangled. I took the culprit back to the lfs and his fins have come back, but very slowly. Could it be that he is a gibby, and he's just one his way to growing it back?
